The purpose of worship is to come into the presence of God to receive His gifts, and to respond with praise and thanksgiving. We receive the gift of life throught he good news of Jesus love and forgiveness. This love and forgiveness is delivered through the teaching and the two sacraments of Baptisma nd the Lord's Supper.

Pastor Ken began our summer sermon series, Living Through the Heat, by introducing the prophet Jeremiah and the challenges he faced while serving God during a difficult time in Israel's history. Even as God's people struggled with sin and rebellion, God called Jeremiah to faithfully share His message and trust in His presence.
Through Jeremiah's story, we are reminded that God knows us, calls us, and walks with us through the heat of life's struggles. Because of Jesus, we can live with confidence, knowing that God's favor is upon us and that He continues to work through us to bring His hope and restoration to the world around us.
