The purpose of worship is to come into the presence of God to receive His gifts, and to respond with praise and thanksgiving. We receive the gift of life throught he good news of Jesus love and forgiveness. This love and forgiveness is delivered through the teaching and the two sacraments of Baptisma nd the Lord's Supper.

In a world filled with confusion, loneliness, and a constant sense of searching, Jesus meets us with a simple but powerful truth from John 10: we are known, led, and fed by our Good Shepherd. Looking back to the healing of the blind man in John 9, we’re reminded that even in brokenness and hardship, God is at work. The man who once lived unseen and dependent is not only healed, but personally sought out by Jesus. In the same way, we are not overlooked or forgotten. Jesus knows us completely, calls us by name, and loves us not as we pretend to be, but as we truly are.
Because we are His, we don’t have to figure life out on our own. Jesus goes before us, leading us through His Word, guiding us away from the many competing voices that pull us in the wrong direction. And He doesn’t leave us empty. He feeds us with what we truly need—His presence, His forgiveness, and His life given for us. Our hope doesn’t rest in how strong we feel or how well we navigate life, but in the faithfulness of the Shepherd who laid down His life for His sheep so that we may have life, now and forever.
