What do Lutherans believe?
Click here for a small summary of our teachings on faith, baptism, the Lord's Supper and marriage.
How do I become a member?
We offer a series of instruction & membership classes on a regular basis for adults who are interested in joining the congregation or learning more about what we believe. The current class is meeting 6:30-8:30 PM (in the Ministry Center) with sessions continuing every Thursday until the course is completed in May. If you complete this form we will gladly provide materials for the class, and please also indicate if you'll be needing child care. For those deciding to join the St. Paul family, New Member Welcome Sunday will be May 22. Classes help newcomers become familiar with our church and provide a great refresher for those with a Christian background. The classes are designed to introduce the basics of the Christian faith to those who have no Christian background, and provide the central and foundational teachings and beliefs specific to Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Questions and dialogue are encouraged among the participants.
Can I get married at St. Paul?
As Lutheran Christians, we view the rite of marriage as a worship service. This does not exclude you if you aren't Lutheran, but we do ask that you first take a look at the Marriage Manual and talk with the pastor before you make a decision to have a wedding at St. Paul.
Can I be baptized at St. Paul?
We would be glad to help you make arrangements for baptism. Please submit this form or call the office (863-644-7710) to make an appointment with the pastor.
How do I receive assistance through the Food Pantry?
For families needing assistance with food, we have a food pantry that issues one sack of groceries per family on a monthly basis. Please call the church office at 863-644-7710 for instructions. The directions to the church are here. The Food Pantry is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:00 AM until noon. St. Paul is also an equal opportunity provider.
